Privacy Policy
Last updated 3 October 2026 · LiveDeno by [Developer legal name]
This policy explains what the LiveDeno app for iPhone, iPad and Android collects, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. “We” and “us” mean [Developer legal name], the developer of LiveDeno.
No ads, no third-party analytics and no tracking. We never sell your data.
Drawings are used only to make your artwork. Our AI providers don’t train on them.
Delete any artwork, or your whole account, right inside the app.
1. Children and families
LiveDeno is made for parents, guardians and other adults, who use it with drawings their children make. Accounts are for adults only, and every purchase sits behind a grown-ups-only check.
We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. A drawing is creative work, not personal information, but please don’t upload drawings or photos that show a child’s face, full name, school, address or other details that could identify them. If you think a child has given us personal information, email support@livedeno.app and we’ll delete it.
2. What we collect
We collect only what we need to run LiveDeno:
| Data | What it is | Why we need it |
|---|---|---|
| Account ID | A random identifier created the first time you open the app, before you sign up. | To keep your artwork and purchases tied to you. |
| Name and email address | What you enter when you create an account, or, if you sign in with Google, the name and email on your Google account. Passwords are handled by Google Firebase Authentication; we never see them. | To sign you in, confirm your email, reset your password and contact you about your account. |
| Drawings | The photos you take or choose of a drawing. | To create your artwork. |
| Artwork | The images we create, with the style you picked, a short title, a description of the drawing and the AI instructions used to make it. | To show your gallery, let you try other styles, and review artwork that’s reported. |
| Usage and balance | How many creations you’ve made each day and week, and how many you have left. | To apply your free creations and plan allowance, keep use fair and prevent abuse. |
| Purchase history | Which plan or credit pack you bought, purchase and renewal dates, and store transaction IDs. We never receive your card or bank details. | To give you what you paid for, restore purchases on a new device, and handle refunds and fraud. |
| Reports | The reason you pick, any note you add (up to 500 characters) and a copy of the reported artwork. | To review problem artwork and make the app safer. |
| Support messages | What you send us. When you email from the app, it adds the app version, your device type and system version, and your account ID. | To answer your question. |
| Technical data | IP address, device model, operating system and app version, which our service providers process when the app connects to them, and server logs that include your account ID. | To run the service, keep it secure and fix problems. |
What we don’t collect
We don’t collect your location, contacts, browsing history, or advertising identifiers. LiveDeno has no ads and no third-party analytics, and we don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites. We don’t sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
Camera and photos
The app only uses your camera when you choose to snap a drawing, and only opens your photos when you choose to pick a drawing or save artwork. It never reads your photo library in the background. You can turn these permissions off at any time in your device settings.
3. How your drawings become artwork
When you create artwork, your drawing is uploaded to our servers and then sent to two AI providers:
- Anthropic (Claude) looks at the drawing, writes a description of it, and checks that it’s a drawing suitable for a children’s app. Photos that aren’t drawings, and unsuitable content, are rejected.
- Google Cloud Vertex AI (Gemini) uses the drawing and that description to paint the artwork in the style you chose.
Both providers process drawings only to provide this service to us, under their commercial terms for business customers. Under those terms they don’t use your drawings or artwork to train their AI models.
These checks are automatic and only decide whether a drawing can be turned into artwork. We don’t use AI to make any other decisions about you.
4. Who we share data with
We share data only with the service providers that run LiveDeno for us, and only what each one needs:
| Provider | What they do | Data they receive |
|---|---|---|
| Google (Firebase and Google Cloud) | Sign-in, database, file storage, servers, logs, and Vertex AI image generation. | Everything in the table above, stored on our behalf. |
| Anthropic | Describes and checks each drawing. | The drawing and the chosen style. No name, email or account ID. |
| RevenueCat | Manages in-app purchases and subscriptions. | Account ID, purchase history, and device, app and store-country details. |
| Google Sign-In | Lets you sign in with your Google account, if you choose to. | Google shares your name, email and profile picture with us. We store the name and email. |
| Apple and Google Play | Take payment for plans and credit packs. | They handle payment under their own privacy policies and tell us only what you bought. |
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the safety of our users or the public, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your data.
5. Where your data is stored and how it’s protected
Our database, file storage and servers run on Google Cloud in Sydney, Australia. Anthropic and RevenueCat process data in the United States, and Google may process AI requests in other countries where it operates. Where the law requires it, these transfers are covered by our providers’ data protection terms, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Your drawings and artwork are private to your account: the app only lets the signed-in owner see them. Our own access is limited to what’s needed for support, safety reviews and legal requests. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will tell you and the relevant authorities about a breach where the law requires it.
6. How long we keep it
| Data | Kept until |
|---|---|
| Account details, usage and balance | You delete your account. |
| Artwork | You delete it, or you delete your account. Deleting an artwork removes it straight away. |
| Drawings | You delete your account. Deleting a single artwork doesn’t remove the drawing it was made from, so you can still try other styles on it. To have a drawing removed sooner, email us. |
| Reports, with their copy of the artwork | Up to 12 months after the report, even if you delete your account, so we can finish the safety review. |
| Purchase records | As long as we need them for tax, accounting, refunds and fraud prevention, or as the law requires. After account deletion they’re linked only to your old account ID, not your name or email. |
| Server logs | Up to 30 days. |
| Support emails | As long as needed to help you, and to keep a record of what we agreed. |
7. Deleting your data
To delete one artwork: press and hold it in your gallery, or open it and choose Delete artwork from the ⋯ menu.
To delete your account and everything in it: in the app, go to Profile → Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, profile, drawings, artwork and usage history straight away. If you can’t use the app, see how to request deletion by email.
Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription, because Apple or Google bills it. Cancel it first in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Artwork you saved to your device or shared with others stays there; we can’t delete those copies.
8. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information. You can change your name in the app, and delete artwork or your whole account yourself. For anything else, email support@livedeno.app from the email address on your account. We’ll reply within 30 days, and may need to confirm the account is yours first.
Europe and the UK
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, we rely on these legal bases:
- Contract: to provide the app, create your artwork and deliver purchases.
- Legitimate interests: to keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fraud, and review reported artwork.
- Legal obligation: to keep purchase records and answer lawful requests.
- Consent: for camera and photo access, which you can withdraw in your device settings.
You can also object to or ask us to restrict processing, and complain to your local data protection authority.
United States
We don’t sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we don’t use sensitive personal information to infer things about you. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws can use the rights above, and we won’t treat you differently for using them.
9. This website
livedeno.com doesn’t use cookies, analytics or tracking. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, to deliver and secure the site.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If the change is important, such as using your data in a new way, we’ll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
